High thixotropic and highly efficient associating alkali swelling thickener

RT-3311

Features and advantages:
RT-3311 hydrophobic modified alkal-soluble emulsion thickener can be used as the main thickener or cooperative thickener of waterborne coatings. Thick but not sticky, excellent suspension resistance, can effectively improve the viscosity of low-shear (Kreb Units) at relatively low dosage. The fluidity and leveling performance of the coating were improved when rT-3311 was used alone as thickener compared with the middle and high molecular weight cellulose thickener.Adding a small amount of surfactant or ether cosolvent to reduce the low shear viscosity (Brookfield) can change the rheological properties of RT-3311, so as to further improve the fluidity and leveling of the coating.
RT-3311 is recommended for interior wall coatings. Compared with cellulose thickeners, it can improve the suspension anti-delamination performance of coatings and reduce the cost of raw materials. Rt-3311 can also be used for exterior wall coatings and art paints.

Recommended dosage: add 0.3~0.7% to the total amount of coating (finished product form), the specific dosage should be subject to the experiment

Usage: Before use, adjust the PH value of the thickening system to 8 ~ 9 with ammonia water, then dilute RT-3311 with water in the proportion of 1:2~3, and slowly add in at low speed and stir fully.

Packing: 50kg plastic drum/ton drum.

Storage: the product should be sealed and placed in a cool, dry and ventilated place. If it cannot be used all at once, tighten the lid after use to prevent caking or crusting.
