   Reaction property
   RK-G3116 is easily miscible with standard organic solvents such as alcohols, hydrocarbons and ketones.
   RK-G3116 is almost insoluble in neutral water, resulting in the formation of silanol and higher condensation products. The addition of hydrolytic catalysts (inorganic/organic acids, ammonia or amines) can significantly accelerate the hydrolysis reaction.
   Product application
   The introduction of long chain alkyl modified groups into silicone molecules can give silicone products new characteristics. As a new type of organosilane coupling agent, long chain alkyl trimethoxysilane can be used to treat inorganic materials (such as glass, SiO2, Al2O3, kaolin, mica, SiC, talc, etc.) to improve the compatibility of inorganic materials and organic materials (such as plastics, rubber, oil, adhesives) and enhance the mechanical properties of products. It is used as a glass anti-fogging agent, which can protect blank glass and film treatment glass (optical anti-reflection film, vacuum anti-reflection film, reflection film), and protect optical parts and precision instruments with scales and metal frames; It can be used as a cultural relic protection agent to prevent the destruction of cultural relics by acid corrosion and freeze-thaw weathering.
